What are the Different Shapes?
As I mentioned, the Versix Pickleball paddles come in two different shapes: regular and XL. Let’s explore the differences between the two.
Regular Shape
The regular shape paddle has a 5-inch handle, and a 15.6-inch overall paddle length. This shape was easy to move around quickly when at the net and also had some nice control.
My shots were pure and mishits were limited thanks to the centered sweet spot on the paddle. The sweet spot has a nice expansion to it, providing a wider hitting area for more consistent shots.
Overall, the regular shape paddle was easy to maneuver, had solid feel, large sweet spot and was really nice for block volleys at the net.
XL Shape
The XL is ideal for those who prefer and elongated paddle and a longer handle. With a 5.25-inch handle and an overall length of 16.4 inches, this paddle gives you excellent reach and power.
The sweet spot on the XL paddle is more towards the top of the face and really had some nice pop to it. I was able to easily hit the ball with good power and accuracy.
The elongated shape provides more power, reach and swing speed.
Ultimately, the choice between regular and XL shape paddles comes down to personal preference and playing style.
If you prioritize quick movements and control, the regular shape paddle may be the better choice.
If you’re looking for more power and reach, the XL shape paddle may be the way to go.

What Are The Different Surface Materials?
There are two different paddle face materials to choose from when picking your Versix paddle.
They offer a carbon fiber surface and a fiberglass surface. Each comes with the peel-ply texture wear protection coating that helps provide spin and longevity.

Carbon Fiber
The carbon fiber face paddle is stiffer than traditional paddle faces.

Versix Pro 6F Power Paddle
The VERSIX Pro 6F Power Pickleball Paddle is a widebody shape with a powerful fiberglass face. I really liked it becasue of the control-oriented 15mm thick core.
Its wide face was great at the kitchen for blocks and resets. I also liked the thich core for great control and placements of my dinks.
The paddle also has the Peel-Ply Texture with a wear-prevention coating. I had really good spin when asked and solid top spin on my drives. The 5″ long handle is decent, but I do prefer a little longer handle myself.
Overall, it’s a good choice for players who want a balance of controlled kitchen play and point winning power.

Our Overall Take
In my opinion, Pickleball Central has done an excellent job with their Versix Pickleball Paddle lineup. They offer a well-rounded selection of options without overwhelming players with crazy prices.
More and more companies are entering the pickleball paddle race and it is nice to see someone like Pickleball Central add to their line up using the experience they have from being in the game a long time.
