Vulcan V740 MAX Pickleball Paddle

The V740 MAX Pickleball Paddle from Vulcan was designed in partnership with pro player Jay Devilliers to deliver impressive power while retaining intuitive control. It features an extended 16-1/2" overall length so players can make the most of their reach, and use the entire surface to generate everything from dangerous slices to precise dinks at the net. Its well-balanced construction results in the paddle feeling much lighter than it is, so you can maintain hand speed even after charging up to the kitchen line for a quick exchange.

As with Vulcan's other V700 Series paddles, this V740 benefits from their years of research and development into pickleball paddle materials and manufacturing methods to create a particularly potent weapon. From the 7-layer V-Skin face material, to the reinforced TeXstreme carbon fiber V-Struts embedded between the face and core for stability, to the Dura-Flex throat and "thermal welding" bonding method, these V700 Series paddles are engineered to perform and built to last.

The V740 MAX Paddle ranges from 8.1 – 8.5 oz. in weight, and has a 5-1/2" long handle. This leaves space for both hands to grasp the handle when you want to generate extra force. Its grip circumference is 4-1/4" with a lightly tacky feel. The 13mm (0.51") thick plays with excellent consistency, meaning you'll enjoy predictable response no matter where pickleballs strike the paddle face. The V740 MAX Pickleball Paddle by Vulcan helps players achieve quicker speeds and more reliable performance so you can unlock the next level of your potential.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8"

After a week of playing with this paddle. The paint/grip chips off so easily. It's insane how much paint has come off this paddle. You would expect an expensive paddle to be more premium and able to withstand a lot more.

I liked this Paddle. I am a racquetball player, so it suits me well. I enjoy playing with it. I thought it was an elongated paddle, like my current Gamma. But, I started playing and I like it.
