SwiftNet® 2.1 Portable Pickleball Net

Newly Redesigned-Faster and Easier To Setup Than Any Other Portable Net System!

Full video review of the SwiftNet 2.1 Pickleball Net System!

The SwiftNet 2.1 Pickleball Net System is a game changer for those who play often and desire precise regulation heights from their net. The unique locking system and supportive brace used on this system keep it at the perfect 34" height at the center and 36" height at side lines of the court. The net uses a high-tensile, non-stretch top cord which means that the net doesn't sag or require re-adjustment even after weeks of use. Another big benefit is that the system's poles can simply slide in and out of the feet without needing to slip the net off for easy breakdown and setup. Once the initial SwiftNet Leg Assembly is complete, there are only five parts, the net can be quickly and easily assembled (or disassembled) in under 3 minutes.

The SwiftNet 2.1 Portable is now easier to assemble than ever before. With an improved foot and post assembly made of aluminum, there is no longer a need to open up and set the feet. Note: There is a one-time set up of the new feet which makes the post assembly stronger than ever.

The SwiftNet 2.1 Portable Pickleball Net System deserves extra admiration for its incredibly light weight as well. Weighing in at approximately 17 lbs, it is far less of a struggle to move than other net systems in the 25-35 lb range. The frame is made from lightweight aluminum, making it lightweight and rust resistant. The aerospace-grade carbon fiber boom bends (and rebounds back into shape) but don't break, and can survive impacts from players during game play without deforming the net structure. These nets have proven themselves to hold up as well as heavier nets in the wind and they last! The clean design has the net's name printed on the side with reinforced vinyl that will stay strong despite any tugging or travel. The SwiftNet 2.1 Portable Pickleball Net System is a standout option for players who like their nets crisp, lightweight and durable. Includes carry bag.

Please note: There is a 10% re-stocking fee on all returned net systems. Some minor component colors may vary.

Staff Review of the Pickleball Inc. SwiftNet Portable Net System:

Finally, a portable net system for serious players, coaches, ambassadors, and tournament directors!

Around a year ago we got to see the initial prototype drawings for this net system, and we were quite literally stunned at the simplicity and ingenuity of the design. The designer of the net system worked closely with the engineers at the Carbon Recycling Technology Center (CRTC) in Washington State to craft a truly break-through net design. Based on their experience as true pickleball addicts, they came up with a net system so elegant, so durable, and so functional we couldn't believe what we saw. Using their engineering background, they solved the biggest problems we normally face with portable nets. Here's our impressions:

First, these net systems are durable. We mean run it over with a truck, have a 300 pound player step on the legs and not bend the system durable. We have used prototype versions of these on our "Pickleball Station" facility courts for the past 6 months, and while the traditional metal portable nets are constantly being bent when players run into them, these new SwiftNets just spring back into shape & keep on trucking! Gotta love that carbon fiber. The fact that they offer the best warranty we've ever seen on a portable net system is a testimonial to the quality of this system!

Second, they play like a real permanent net system. We all hate when balls "walk the tape" on the top of a portable net, and points are decided by a loose, or floppy net top. The top cord on the top of these SwiftNets are taut, and tight, more like a permanent in-ground net post system with a steel cable. Plus, there's no center post! Who hasn't been frustrated by a ball striking the center post & reacting oddly?! Add to this the fact that the feet are low and out of the way, the boom is flush to the net, and the center support at the bottom is tiny and the system causes few lets. Playing an around the post shot or an Ernie is easy, and the legs aren't int the way. A net shouldn't decide the game, and this net is a true tournament caliber net system. We Love the way the games play with the SwiftNet!

Third, these things are easy to set-up, move, and break down. In our shop, we have people who can now literally setup one of these in less than 120 seconds. They only weigh 14 pounds, so you can easily carry two of them out to the courts. Moving them around on the courts is just as easy, and in fact, a single person can move them without bending or damaging them.

Finally, this net is a truly precision system. You don't have to constantly adjust the net height. Metal portable net systems use a strap on the side with friction holding the nets in place. Metal fatigue, bending, weather, and just the stretching of the fabric all cause the nets to sag, or fall in height. The SwiftNet is designed to auto set the height and maintain it over weeks, or months without any adjustment.

The fact that these are made in the USA, and they keep recycled carbon fiber material out of the landfill is an extra bonus! Early in the discussions with the designers, they told us their objective was to design a net system that tournament directors, coaches, ambassadors, and players would prefer to use over any other portable net system. We think they accomplished their objective!

A little complicated to setup initially. Figuring out how much tension on the pull cords was a trial and error. However, you get the hang of it and it is great. I worry about loaning it out to people who have never set it up. The net itself is great. Plays really well and is consistent. I love the no pole in the middle. It plays very similar to an outdoor net.

Awesome net, love not having a center post. Sets up and takes down very easily. A little more spendy than others but worth the extra. Thank you

This was hard to rate. We really like the SwinftNet. However the string used to pull the tension is really frail. It literally frayed the fiorst time we set it up. Luckily some handy guys had extra string and knew how to restring and it has been usable now that we did a home-made fix. For the price we all think that needs to be more durable.

Great net, easy to setup and take down. But it loss some of the weight advantage with the heavier aluminum base stands.
