Just came and I haven't used it yet but the color is not as brown as in the photo- I thought it was going to be a medium brown leather look as in the photo but it is more orange than brown... kind of like a bright terracotta... just fyi. I still like it but I was secretly hoping it would look just like the photo...

Feel nice to hold in hand, bought it for my boyfriend, who hates the Spark xs size, I was debating to buy this cause we would never think to spend more than 100s for paddle. But then I went for it. I believe my bf needs the better paddle if he wants to join open play regularly. He loves it, everyone hangs with us for pickleball game like it too. Great control and spin, I do see the the power is less on the others like my Onix Z5. But the reason to buy this version is for controlling and spinning, so it serves well for its purpose.

This is a great paddle and you can put good spin on the ball without much effort. The Control MAX 16mm paddle has a big sweet spot and a nice grip size. I added a little weight to mine with lead tape and I think it really has helped my game coming from a cheapo paddle. This might not compete with an invicta vanguard, Luxx, or Ruby 006, but for 112 on sale, it was a great deal.
