Product Description
Easy to use dual-band WiFi range extender kit for boats, RVs, campers, or larger properties looking to increase the range of an existing WiFi source.
This all-in-one kit picks up and repeats a weak Wi-Fi signal as your own personal hotspot.
If you need to boost a 2.4 or 5 GHz WiFi signal to multiple devices at once in your RV or boat, the WiFi CampPro 3 is the perfect choice!
How the ALFA WiFi Camp Pro 3 kit works:
Use all of the above components to boost and share a Wi-Fi signal. Simply connect your computer to the R36AHv2 via ethernet cable or Wi-Fi connection for an one-time configuration and setup. Use the built-in WiFi scanning software of the R36AHv2 during the setup wizard to scan for and connect to available wireless networks in your area. Once the R36AHv2 connects to a network, you will be prompted to name and password protect your own new local Wi-Fi network, offering any device within a few hundred feet the ability to use the same distant Wi-Fi signal.
ALFA WiFi Camp Pro 3 Range:
There is no specific range because range can vary greatly based on environmental factors like obstacles and interference. We recommend using The ALFA WiFi Camp Pro 3 in an area where other devices can at least get a weak signal to the desired network, such as one bar. A rough estimate is 500-1000 feet. If you are in a very open area, the range may go further.
The ALFA WiFi Camp Pro 3 kit includes:
- Indoor unit (ALFA R36AHv2 USB WiFi Router) with external antenna
- Outdoor unit (ALFA Tube-UAC2)
- Antenna for outdoor unit (ALFA AOA-2458-79AM)
- USB 2.0 cable (24 ft USB cable to go between R36AHv2 and ALFA Tube-UAC2)
- Wall socket and car power adapters
- Installation accessories (Waterproof tape and wire ties for mounting Tube to pole)
- RJ45 Ethernet patch cord
- Printed installation guide

I will find a similar product that works but this is NOT it !
This has got to be the most frustrating gardware and software I have ever seen- I would rather do my taxes than try to set this system up one more time - buyer beware and good luck !
Now I wish I could give this zero stars-
Unbeleivably frustrating!
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
For all you google, alexa and smart home users, you will be happy to discover that
this unit receives both 2.5g and 5g signals, but only transmits both signals in 2.5 GHZ.
I did not see this advertised anywhere, but I hoped this was the case and it is!
On the negative side, I received a USB cable that did not work. It would not make a secure connection to the outdoor antenna, and as soon as I installed the waterproof cap on the antenna,
it would shut down the connection. it you have troubles with your unit look there.
The seller shipped a new cable, however, I have not been able to test it out yet.
Otherwise this is an awesome unit, and works much better than the camp pro 2.0 version.
I also have the older camp pro 2, that only receives 2.5g.
I am giving this unit 5 stars even with the usb cable issue.
Oh - also, the software need a little improving - the software for the older 2.0 version was much better.
Maybe I'll get into that later........
Update- I installed the new usb cord and the connection is worse than before.
There appears to be a problem with the outdoor antenna not the USB cord this unit is very sketchy
It operates great for a while and then I can’t get it to work for nothing!
After days of factory resets, reboots, walking towards the Parks Router and their one repeater on the other end of the park. Connecting through those devices and running speed diagnostics thru a speed check app. I would then Screenshot all of the addresses:
I screen shot and logged 3 pages of numbers from the phones WiFi settings, the speed check apps diagnostics, and the CampPro3’s interface. I had no clue which numbers were incorrect, because the devices all use the same language as their own.
day 4 & 40 hrs into frustration I’d only been connected to the internet a few times if which only lasted a few minutes. I knew if it connected again. I’d hurry and take screen shots of all the numbers while it was connected and IT HAPPENED!
The Pro3 interface window that shows the connection to the park WiFi. (It’s the first page it open up in where you select the Park Hotspot).
Well! The first two addresses listed under Status
IP ADDRESS/
IP GATEWAY
were the numbers that would Change after a few minutes of connection. The few times that it connected they would be correct a few minutes then suddenly Change back. Had I not taken the screen shots, I wouldn’t have figured it out.
Have great internet speed, reception, 4 devices sometimes 6 running simultaneous.
Very happy with it now that it’s connected. Not sure why it would revert to the wrong numbers. May have something to do with his Network Antenna and the repeater being picked up simultaneously. Not sure.
Had an older Alpha model, so was confident I’d get it going. I manually input the correct numbers from the screenshot in and wham! 150Mbps almost continuously. Love it!
*****BTW****
The Sellers from which I purchased this Unit are the most respondent I’ve ever dealt. They process and ship unbelievably fast. A+++
Easy to Assemble (took 15 minutes) and install. The only issue I had was getting the initial connection to the park wifi using the android app. It was a breeze with my laptop but the phone just couldn't keep the signal long enough. After that everything was great. I have had no drops and have several devices attached.
